School Workshops

School workshops generally last for approximately 2 hours, before or after lunch. After school-club sessions are also available.

Themes on offer include:

  • Romans
  • Egyptians
  • Jacobites
  • Vikings
  • WWII
  • Knights
  • Victorians
  • Free choice

 plus many, many more.

Please email to discuss your requirements.

For non school based workshops, participants are free to make any sort of character they wish, again during a two hour session.

Cost

Please email Noona for a full quote, but as an idea, a one off 2 hour session will cost £80 fully inclusive of all materials and travel within the Glasgow/Stirling region.

A full day will cost £140, again fully inclusive, and further discounts are available for multiple bookings...eg if you wish to book a workshop for every class in your school as part of the curriculum for excellence. Many schools choose this option, so have a wee look through the Gallery section to see the fantastic puppets the kids have created.

Puppet -Stew can also offer weekly sessions which culminate in the pupils putting on their own show. Please email for more details.

Benefits of a Puppet Workshop

Puppets allow children to learn while having fun. I aim to give each child the opportunity for positive self expression. Puppet workshops offer a useful means of gathering and sharing knowledge on a given theme or topic. Participation in a puppet workshop allows children to learn something new and gain a sense of achievement.
